Concept:

Ucha Dar Babe Nanak Da is a groundbreaking initiative, envisioned as the world’s first and only Spiritual Museum that welcomes individuals from all walks of life, regardless of faith or belief system. Whether devout or atheist, every visitor to the museum is promised a unique experience of inner peace and enlightenment. Rooted in the teachings of Baba Nanak, the museum aims to foster a deeper understanding of humanist values, while offering an inclusive space for spiritual reflection.

What sets Ucha Dar Babe Nanak Da apart from any other wonder in the world is its genesis. Unlike grand monuments or museums funded by governments, corporations, or wealthy individuals, this project is built entirely by Rozana Spokesman and its readers. It is a testament to the collective effort of ordinary people, contributing from their hard-earned money to bring Baba Nanak’s ideology to life.

At its core, Ucha Dar Babe Nanak Da is not just a museum, but also a charity organization, with a revolutionary model. 100% of its income will be transparently distributed to the poor and the needy, regardless of religion, language, or caste. Every individual is seen as a child of God, and this effort aims to uplift the underprivileged without any discrimination.

The museum has two fundamental purposes:

  • To spread the humanist philosophy and teachings of Baba Nanak through modern techniques and platforms
  • To ensure that the profits generated from the project go directly to help those in need, fostering equality and compassion.

Brief History

Ucha Dar Babe Nanak Da originated from the collective desire of Rozana Spokesman readers to create an organization that would disseminate Baba Nanak's philosophy worldwide. On the second anniversary of the newspaper, this vision took root, and discussions began on how to utilize modern methods to achieve this, as many believed that Gurudwaras had not fulfilled this role effectively. Led by Mr. Joginder Singh, Editor-in-Chief of Rozana Spokesman, the idea gained momentum, and readers unanimously decided to contribute to the project. It was agreed that a substantial sum of Rs. 70-80 crore would be raised, with Rozana Spokesman handling land acquisition, government approvals, and legal formalities. The readers committed to bearing any potential losses, covering them through membership fees and donations. Once the project is completed, all financial transactions will be audited and approved by the Income Tax Department. The newly established trust will manage the museum, and trustees will be elected annually by the members. Ucha Dar Babe Nanak Da is a selfless community project, powered by the collective spirit of Rozana Spokesman readers. It is a testament to the teachings of Baba Nanak and aims to uplift mankind, particularly the poor and marginalized, through a transparent, righteous, and people-driven effort
